Samsung R440 Notebook Review
Samsung announced the latest addition to the R Series – the high performance and ultra-stylish R440 notebook computer.

HD LED show delivers perfect images
The R440 features a 16:9 widescreen 14” HD LED show with a 1,366 x 768 resolution. Together with the latest NVIDIA® GeForce GT 320M graphics card with 1GB GDDR3 or ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD545V with 512MB GDDR3, the R440 delivers right-to-life visuals and 3D processing power to enhance any user’s movie or gaming experience. With its low power consumption and streamlined design, the HD LED show not only enhances battery life, but makes for a lighter and more stylish notebook computer.
Powerful hardware configuration enhances multimedia performance
Like some Samsung R Series models, the R440 features the latest Intel® Core™ i3 330M (2.13GHz) processor, which automatically allocates resources where they are most needed. Whether you are editing high definition (HD) video, composing digital music, manipulating photos or engaging in 3D gaming, the R440 multitasks with ease, delivering an overall performance that is 20% more efficient than models featuring Core 2 Duo processors. The R440 also features SRS TruSurround XT technology, which delivers a vivid and immersive soundstage even without centre and rear speakers. WOW HD technology, specially designed to deliver powerful bass tones, further deepens the multimedia experience offered by the compact and full-featured R440.

The ergonomic design featured in the palm rest and keyboard on the R440 delivers a more enjoyable and productive user experience. The R440 comes in several colours: solid glassy black and punchy pink to welcome summer. The glassy black also features with a wave pattern on the covering and the palm rest for the trendy sophisticate.
